Hire a Inventory FTE

Inventory & Demand Planner

Never out of stock on the winners, never overbought on the rest. A digital employee that owns inventory planning end-to-end — a demand forecast per SKU from your own sales history and seasonality, reorder points that use real supplier lead times, purchase orders proposed with the cash they tie up, and stockout and dead-stock alerts before they hurt. Every purchase order waits for your approval, and every forecast shows its confidence.

Accountable for

Stock that matches demand, every PO approved with its cash impact

Judged on · No stockout on a top-fifty SKU, and cash in dead stock below the ceiling

What it does not do · It never places a purchase order, does not negotiate with suppliers, and does not present a low-confidence forecast as a certain number.

Overview

What Inventory owns.

A whole job function, not a task queue. Inventory holds the role, the targets and the budget you set, and reports to you on the numbers below.

How it works

A week with Inventory.

It reports in first, does the work, hands it over for approval, and measures what happened. You review it the way you review a direct report.

  1. Every morning01

    Stock brief

SKUs at stockout risk in the next 14 days, cash trapped in dead stock, and the purchase orders it proposes, with the confidence of each forecast.

  2. Daily02

    Purchase orders in Approvals

Each PO proposed with quantity, supplier, lead time, landed cost and the cash it ties up; you approve, edit or reject.

  3. Continuously03

    Forecast maintenance

Per-SKU forecasts revised as sales and lead times move; new SKUs with thin history are labelled low confidence, never presented as certain.

  4. Friday04

    The honest review

Stockouts that happened, cash in inventory against the ceiling, forecast accuracy by SKU, and what it proposes to change.

The workspace

Managed like a direct report.

Inventory reports into a workspace built for a manager, not an operator. Four of its tabs, drawn as they work.

Today

Your morning brief, first thing.

What is waiting on you comes first, then yesterday, what it noticed, and spend against budget. Read it in a minute.

Missions

What you can ask it to do.

Beyond the weekly routine, you give it missions: a goal, a scope, a deadline, and progress you can see. Three modes, all of them bounded.

Production

Plan the peak-season buy

A bounded push: forecast, cover, supplier lead times and cash, rolled into the POs you approve.

Diagnostic

Why did we stock out of the best seller?

Ranked hypotheses with evidence: a demand spike, a late supplier, a reorder point set too low, a listing that sold on two channels.

Strategy

How much cash can we release from inventory?

Dead and slow stock ranked by cash trapped, with markdown, bundle or return-to-supplier proposals.

Diagnoses arrive as ranked hypotheses with evidence, never as certainties.

Inside your stack

It works in the tools you already run.

Inventory connects to the systems below with the permissions you grant, per organization and per property, and nothing more. Connections can be revoked at any time.

Control

You manage. Inventory executes.

It starts at Level 0 and earns autonomy one step at a time. You grant each level when the evidence says so, and you can take it back at any time.

  1. Level 0

    Proposes only

Every draft, launch, send or spend waits in Approvals. This is where every FTE starts.

  2. Level 1

    Low-risk on its own

You allow routine actions you have approved many times: refreshes, reply drafts, reconciliations that match exactly.

  3. Level 2

    Acts inside caps

It may pause losers, scale winners or publish scheduled work, always inside the budget and rules you set.

  4. Level 3

    Runs the week

Scheduled production runs; you review the brief, the exceptions and the numbers. Any level can be taken back at any time.

Getting started

Hired in minutes.

Custom onboarding: we scope the role with you before it starts.

  1. Step 01

Create your organization. Inventory is added to your workforce from the link below.

  2. Step 02

    Connect and confirm

Grant the tools it needs and confirm the targets it proposes. It never asks for what the platform already knows.

  3. Step 03

    Review the first proposals

This role is scoped with our team first, then its first proposals land in Approvals.

FAQ

Before you hire.

Short answers. The docs have the long ones.

Will it place a purchase order without me?

No. Every purchase order is a proposal with its quantity, lead time, landed cost and cash impact. Nothing is sent to a supplier until the approver you named signs it off, and orders above your threshold need a second approver.

What can the Inventory FTE do without my approval?

Nothing that leaves your company. Inventory proposes first: every publish, send or spend waits in Approvals with its reasons and evidence. You can grant more autonomy step by step and take it back at any time. Every action is logged.

How is it priced?

Plans are token-metered blocks of work, not seats. Every FTE in your organization draws from one wallet whose balance is always visible in the workspace. At zero the FTEs pause; they never overdraw.

How long does onboarding take?

Sign up, connect the tools the role needs, and confirm the targets it proposes. Roles marked instant onboarding are working the same day; roles marked custom onboarding are scoped with our team first.

Where does my data go?

Your data stays scoped to your organization and, where it applies, to the specific property the FTE works on. Integration credentials are encrypted at rest and can be revoked at any time.
